I’ve lived too much!
I’m blind!
My eyes consumed the light!

No friends, no love
Can make me hope

Please, oh please, oh God!
Let me forget
The Beauty in my past,
The Good, the Bad,
The Wonder Nights!

like dogs from unkempt yards.

Stay away, stay quiet!
Shh, shoo!

Unafraid, they bite and nibble
at the self, the core, the middle.

]]><![CDATA[Mine]]>https://www.smallpoet.com/p/minehttps://www.smallpoet.com/p/mineSat, 29 Aug 2026 09:22:31 GMTI often imagine myself putting on a magical Ring.
And disappearing inside another world.
Where I am God King!

You see, I found the Ring as a gift,
perhaps from aliens or Higher Powers.
Regardless, I am the ultimate force of creation.
Inside the Ring World, which is mine!

So, not being a weak fool anymore,
like on the outside,
an insect made to toil for absurd things,
I devote myself to pleasure and rest!

I create a copy of the outside, inside.
Only more perfect, because it’s my Ring World!
I surround myself with beautiful people
Whom I love and they love me back!
I have time for leisurely knowledge, I know peace.

And thus, I am finally happy, free, fulfilled!
Oh, don’t despise my sad, my only defense.

Entombed in a block, inside a tiny apartment.
You are secure! Guarded from all sides!
Separated from natural danger.
Just stay inside!

To live in a house with a garden and open sky
Is to be so unprotected,
So exposed!
The clouds are looking down on you,
The grass is spearing from below.

I was strange like a rare alien,
Lost on battlefield Earth,
Trying to make a living

Who was I even back then?
Who am I now?
